Fraud fraud fraud

Hey everyone, just thougt I would update you with a recent disaster that occurred. So I was browsing on ebay trying to find a primer I wanted to order...of course when I found it I realised I didn't have sufficient credit on my paypal account.

I then remember I had a few old phones in my drawer so I thought why not put them up for sale to see if anyone is interested. 

Within 5 minutes I received an email saying my phone was sold! I was so excited. The next morning I received an email from 'PayPal' saying that it was all safe and the money would be put into my account once I sent them the tracking order number as the phone was being sent to Nigeria. 

I then realised after I sent it away, I received no reply about the tracking number and it dawned on me that it must have been a scam. 

Yes it was. My phone is now in the hands of some horrible, selfish person. I also paid £60 for the shipping.

I've learnt a listen from this. 

I guess when you think something is too good to be true, it really is.

Anyway I am a strong believer in karma and I hope this person gets what they deserve:)

Life update x

Hey everyone! 

So I haven't been able to post in a while, I have been feeling very down you know how it is being a teen girl! I guess my life was turned upside down as I fell out with my 3 best friends. We were a group of 4, we did everything together. However I started to feel a little excluded, I felt I wasn't 'cool enough' as these girls were always out partying and making new friends when I wasn't allowed. These girls were my 4 friends and I didn't really have anyone else. So I told them how I felt about being excluded and they were not supportive at all....that left me feeling down and lonely. I spent most nights crying, and crying in school. My school work was deeply affected. 

Today I am starting to put my life back together, I was able to join another friend group, they make much more of an effort to see me than my last friends did! I am starting to look like myself again. 

I'm sure a lot of you have been through this stressful situation but my advice is to not let it get you down, in the end you WILL start to feel better and you will feel so silly about what you put yourself through when you were worrying! 

I just wanted to post this to get it off my chest and hope my advice helps on of you out there! Please feel free to comment below xxx

2014 Beauty Favourites! ♡

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog!:) Ok so we are into the new year! I've decided I want to try out a range of new products this year! Last year I sort of stuck to the same makeup products and reached for the same makeup so this year I am planning a wee change about:)

This post is going to be a small review on all of my favourite products from 2014!

1. Maybelline superstay better skin concealer- 02 light/clair

I purchased this concealer at the start of Summer before I went on holiday as I didn't want to be wearing a lot of makeup at night because it usually just melts off anyway!
I love this concealer as it is a perfect match for my natural skin tone and it also has a very good coverage which completely hides any blemishes I have and I can wear it on its on without foundation!. 

I just wore this concealer and contoured a little the whole of summer and it looked very natural!




2. Max Factor Bronzing Powder- 01 Golden
I would not normally by Max Factor products, in fact this is my only one! This is probably my favorite bronzer in my make-up collection. It is a perfect shade for contouring. The bronzer has little gold shimmers in it which compliment the shade. I apply this on my cheek bones and temples with my Real Techniques Contouring Brush.

3. MUA Matte Perfect Primer

I purchased this primer online because it was relatively cheap! I often find inexpensive products to be cheap and nasty however this primer was a excellent find. The product has a silky texture that rubs nicely onto your skin. My makeup definitely stays on longer when I wear this and it definitely stops shine:) I have owned the Benefit PoreFessional primer and this MUA one is a perfect dupe, and I would actually prefer this one.

4. L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes

I have actually been using this mascara over the last couple of years. Weirdly I have not bought any other mascara other than this one! I guess I rely on it too much! It has a 'spike' brush (that makes it sound sore hahaha) similar to the Benefit 'They're Real' brush, which separates and lengthens my short eyelashes very well! 

5. Eylure No 101 eyelashes

I started wearing fake eyelashes this year and I am glad I made that decision! I only wear them when I am going out to a night club or to a wedding or party. I find that in pictures I look much nicer as they really enhance my eyes. This number is a natural one as I think the big full ones look very silly. It takes time to apply them but it is definitely worth it in the end! 

6. Estée Lauder Double Wear light (INTENSITY 3.0)
    L'Oreal True Match Foundation (D3/W3BEIGEDORE/GOLDENBEIGE)

I use these 2 foundations mixed together as it gives a perfect combination which I can alter depending on where I am going. The Estée Lauder foundation is a few shades too dark for me as I bought it in the airport when I was tan, I know so silly, and the L'Oreal True Match foundation is probably a good match for my skin when I'm not wearing fake tan. However usually when I go for this full coverage look I am wearing tan as I don't wear makeup throughout the week as I go to school. If i have a light tan on  I use mostly the True Match foundation with a little Estee Lauder. If I have darkish tan for going out on then I use mostly the Double Wear Light foundation.
I love the colour this foundation gives, it is quite yellow/orange toned which is my personal favorite!

Yes I do :) My middle name is Mary after my Nanny:)

2. What was your favorite subject in school?
I am still in school and I hate it! But probably P.E
 
3. What's your favorite drink?
I would have to say Coke! I do not drink it often and my mum does not buy fizzy drinks!:(( So when I have it, it's a really nice treat! My everyday favorite drink though is tea! Especially when I am off studying I drink about 7 cups!
 
4. What's your favorite song at the moment?

Hmm I have quite a few. I love Ed sheeran- thinking out loud and Phillip George- Wish you were mine (listening to it now :D)

5. What would you name your children?
Do not have a clue! Too young for those thoughts hahahah

6. What's your favorite book?

8. What's your favorite color?
Probably pink!

9. What's your favorite animal?
I don't really have one! I love tropical fish they look amazing!

12. Have you graduated from High School?
Not yet, I have one more year

13. Have you been out of the country?
Yes I go on holiday to somewhere sunny every Summer and I would love to travel when I leave school:)

Yes I can speak Irish well and some Spanish,

Yes! 1 brother and 1 sister

16. What's your favorite store?
Probably ASDA hahaha i love sweeties and choclate! My favourite clothes store would be Topshop! And I love boots etc for buying makeup!

17. What's your favorite restaurant?
Probably Nandos. I am not really a restaurant type person and don't eat out too often!
 
18. Do you like school? 
NO.

19. Who are some of your favorite YouTubers?
I love glitteralittle (Chloe) she is from the same area as me and watching her videos really inspired me to do something like her! I also love Zoella, Casparlee and Lauren Curtis:)


20. What's your favorite movie? 
I have a few! They are all along the lines of the Notebook, Dear John, The Last Song etc!

BEAUTY BLOGGER TAG ♡
1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is naturally very curly! I used to hate it and I would straighten every single day however now i'm older and I think I appreciate it more!

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I get my hair highlighted around 2-3 times a year in a salon! I only started to recently as my hair started to go dark as i got older and i really love being blonde!

3. Do you wear the same style everyday or do you change it?
Well I go to school 5 days a week so yes I have to wear the same uniform everyday! But at the weekends I wouldnt really change my style unless I was going out for the night!

4. How long does it take you to put on makeup?
It really depends on where I am going! I don't wear makeup to school but if i was going out to a night club or somewhere similar I would take between 60-90 minutes. However if i was just going into the town or to a friends I would only take about 10-15 mins (concealer, contour and eyebrows)

5. Do you collect makeup or just buy it when you need it?
I do both to be honest! I guess being a beauty blogger I love makeup etc and when i read a good blog post about a product or watch a makeup tutorial and like a few products I would look them up and buy them! I actually do use all the makeup I buy however my makeup taste always changes!

6. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
I absolutely love false eyelashes, I only wear them when I go out to a nightclub though, I think they are a bit extreme for the day time and too much of an effort to put on! I wear the 'Eylure' Eyelashes in '101' which are very natural!

7 How many high end products do you have?
I love Benefit makeup and my family would always buy me it for Christmas and Birthdays etc. I also like to wear the Estee Lauder double wear light foundation and I have a few eyeshadow palettes (urban decay-naked, too faced-chocolate bar palette) I do not like going to the expense of high end makeup when I am so happy with the drug store products I use!

8. Left handed or right handed?
Right

9. How often do you work out?
I love working out, it frees me from school and stress etc, I work out 4-5 days a week.

10. How many pets do you have?
 2 cats
